Introduction
Use this guide to import your data from Kustomer
Prerequisites
Ensure you have admin access to both your Kustomer and Richpanel accounts.
1. Head over to the Import Wizard
Head over to Settings → Helpdesk Importer (inside Installation)
2. Choose Kustomer
3. Add your Kustomer subdomain and API key
Kustomer subdomain: is the url you use to login to Kustomer
API Key: See instructions below on how to generate an API token.
To generate an API token in Kustomer
- Log in to your Kustomer account (with an admin email)
- Go to Settings > Security > API Keys.
- Select Add API Key.
- A popup will appear to edit the API keys. Use the below values
- App name = Importer”
- Expiry = No expiration
- Role = org.admin
- CIDR IP Restriction = <leave blank>
4. Select import duration
Select the data you want to import and the time period. We recommend selecting “Full import” and checking all boxes:
- Users and Teams
- Tags
- Macros
- Conversations & messages
