Assign Conversation
Assigning conversations allows you to designate specific team members to handle particular interactions, providing clear ownership and visibility into who is working on what.
How to Assign Conversations
- Navigate to the conversation you wish to assign within your Richpanel inbox.
- Click on the “Assignee” button located in the conversation toolbar.
- From the dropdown menu, select the team member you want to assign the conversation to. (You can search for the name if needed)
- Click to finalize the process and notify the selected team member
How to View Assigned Conversations
View Conversations Assigned to You
- Navigate to Your Inbox: Open the Richpanel inbox where your conversations are listed.
- Click on "My Inbox": In the "My Inbox" section, you'll find all conversations directly assigned to you.
Search By Assignee
• Open the Filter feature in Richpanel. • Enter "Agents" into the search bar. • Select from the menu that appears with agent names. • Search for multiple agents to view conversations assigned to any of them.
Mentions
The @mentions feature lets you notify another User or Team in a conversation note, sending them a notification without needing to assign the conversation to them.
Steps to add “mentions”
- Open the Conversation: Go to the conversation where you want to use mentions.
- Use the Mention Feature: In the message or comment field, type “@” followed by the name of the team member or stakeholder you want to mention.
- Select the Person: From the suggested list, select the person you want to notify. Their name will be highlighted in the message.
- Send or Post the Mention: Complete your message or comment and send it. The mentioned individual will receive a notification.
