Integrate with Attentive
Richpanel integrates with Attentive to help you manage SMS interactions alongside other support channels.
Steps to Set Up the Integration
1. Go to Settings → Channels
2. Select Attentive
- Find and select the Attentive option from the available channels. Click on “Connect Attentive”
3. Connect Your Attentive Account
- Add your Attentive account by adding the Channel Name and Selecting your brand.
4. Copy the Client ID and API Key generated for this channel.
5. Set Up the Integration in Attentive
- Go to the Integrations Setup Page: Log in to Attentive, navigate to the integrations setup page, and select Richpanel.
- Enter API Token and Client ID: Add the API Token (API Key from Richpanel) and Client ID collected earlier.
- Configure Context Message: Choose Disabled (only customer message is sent) or Enabled (includes promotional context).
- If Enabled, set the Context Message Window (default: 2 hours).
- Enable Support Confirmation (Optional): If enabled, configure:
- Confirmation Keyword
- Acknowledgement Message
- Resolution Message (optional).
- Save the Setup: Click Set Up Integration to complete the process.
6. Generate the Webhook URL and Configure Richpanel
- Access the Integration Setup Page: Go to your connected Richpanel integration on the integrations setup page.
- Generate Webhooks: Scroll to the Generate Attentive Webhooks section and click Generate URLs.
- Save Webhook URLs: Copy and save the Conversation Closure Webhook and Reply Webhook URLs for future use.
- Exit and Save Changes: Click Close to exit the window and Save Changes to confirm.
- Configure in Richpanel: In Richpanel, go to the Attentive SMS channel and enter:
- Send Message URL: Attentive’s Reply Webhook
- Update Ticket Status URL: Attentive’s Conversation Closure Webhook
- Save Settings: Click Save Changes to finalize the configuration.
7. Test the Integration
- Send a test SMS via Attentive and verify it appears in Richpanel.
After setup, all SMS conversations from Attentive will automatically sync into Richpanel. Your agents can view and respond to SMS messages just like any other support channel, ensuring a consistent customer experience.
