Configure Task Bots
Task Bots in Richpanel help automate customer interactions by collecting information, sharing reply times, and gathering contact details. These bots can be customized to fit your brand and deployed across channels like Facebook and Live Chat.
Steps to Configure Task Bots
1. Access Task Bots Settings
- Go to Settings → Automation → Task Bots in your Richpanel dashboard.
2. Set Up Your Task Bot
- Name Your Bot: Add a custom name and icon for the bot to match your branding.
- Choose Channels: Select where the Task Bot will be enabled (e.g., Facebook, Live Chat).
3. Configure Actions When a Conversation Starts
- Ask for Contact Details: Toggle Ask for Contact Details to collect the customer’s email or phone number. Choose between:
- Email Only
- Email or Mobile Number
- Collect User Data: Enable Data Collection to gather customer information like:
- First Name
- Other custom properties.
- Share Your Typical Reply Time
- Toggle Show Reply Time to inform customers when they can expect a response.
- Use the Set Availability link to define your business hours for messenger platforms.
